I visited mummy AB shops (My local African shop) the other day and she had fresh fufu and the first thing that came to mind was edikaikong but unfortunately for me, she didn’t have fresh ugwu but I didn’t let it stop me from treating myself to some good old edikaikong and fresh fufu.

I’m covering my face as I type this; I have not made ofuloju in the last 4 years. In fact I needed to call my mum to ask for a quick refresher course on how to make ofuloju also called ekuru again. Ofuloju is a popular Yoruba delicacy and it is mostly eaten with eko (agidi) and it can be eaten on its own as snack.
Summer is here, yaay! To everyone that have worked on their summer body till date, I say well done to you all and to some of us that have managed not to keep food out of our mouths, I say more power to our elbows. Lol
I’ve always wanted to make my own chilli sauce for a long while now but I kept procrastinating. I went into my local store recently and it seems the whole shop was filled with nothing but sweet chilli sauce. The corner shop close to mine wasn’t left out either, they had it on sale. I told myself I am not buying it ever again.
